Day two of the Best Sapper Competition brought even tougher challenges for our 10th Mountain Division team from the 41st Engineer Battalion!
1st Lt. Colton Schaal and Sgt. Noah Bielak started their day by rappelling from a CH-47 Chinook straight into the next round of events. 🪂 They tackled the Sapper Fitness Test, which pushed their endurance with running, carrying simulated casualties, dragging weighted sleds, completing pull-ups, and more. 💪🏃♂️
They also demonstrated combat engineer skills by probing for mines and maintaining critical communications using radios under pressure.
