小故事，大道理。这是一则英文小故事，我翻译成了中文。在我们是学生的时候，类似这样的事情在我们身上发生过。如今我们身边的孩子，大概率也会发生类似的事情。教育的事情无大小，都得认真对待。故事中这个院长的做法给了我们一定的启示，他看穿了四个孩子的把戏，但是并没有说穿，而是用他独有的方式告诉孩子们，学会负责任也是人生重要的一课。

One night four college students were out partying late night, and didn’t study for the test which was scheduled for the next day.

一天晚上，4个大学生出去参加聚会直到深夜，他们没有准备好第二天的考试。

In the morning, they thought of a plan. They made themselves look dirty with grease and dirt. Then they went to the Dean and said they had gone out to a wedding last night, and on their way back the tire of their car burst and they had to push the car all the way back. So they were in no condition to take the test.

第二天早上，他们想到了一个好主意。他们把自己搞得脏兮兮的，满身的油垢。然后他们去了院长的办公室，他们告诉院长说，他们前一天晚上参加了一个婚礼，在回去的路上车子爆胎了。他们只好推着车子走回了学校，因此他们这个样子不能参加考试了。

The Dean thought for a minute and said they can have the re-test after 3 days. They thanked him and said they will be ready by that time.

院长想了一下，告诉他们可以在3天后重新考试。他们谢过院长，并且说他们会做好准备的。

On the third day, they appeared before the Dean. The Dean said that as this was a special condition test, all four were required to sit in separateroom for the test. They all agreed as they had prepared well in the last 3 days.

第三天，他们来到了院长面前。院长说这是个特殊的考试，因此要求他们四人分别坐在四个不同的教室里。他们都同意了，因为他们在这三天时间里准备得很充分。

The test consisted of only 2 questions with the total of 100 points:

考试只有两道题，总分是100分：

Which tire burst? ______________ (99 points)

哪个轮胎爆胎了？—————— （99 分）

Options--(a) Front left     (b) Front right

Moral: Be responsible else you too will learn your lesson!

这个故事的寓意深刻：有担当，负责任也是学习的一部分。同时作为教育工作者，我们更应该思考一下，当孩子撒谎了，试图逃避责任的时候，我们怎么去做才是教育他们的最有效的方法？其实，家庭教育也是一样的，不同的教育方式，会产生完全不同的结果，艺术一点，智慧一点的教育方法，一定会绽放出一个孩子一生中最美丽，最绚烂的花朵！
